RON Reviewt tests the SIMRIG Belt Module

1 October 2026 · by Sebastian Djerf · Review

RON Reviewt has spent the past few weeks testing the new SIMRIG Belt Module, and his full review is now live.

He takes a close look at the complete system, from installation and setup in SIMRIG Control Center to the way the Belt Module behaves once you are strapped in and driving.

One area Ron focuses on in particular is the integrated roller system. Rather than simply pulling the shoulder belts downward, the system redirects the belt path behind the driver. He compares the feeling with more traditional belt-tensioner layouts and explains why he considers this one of the most important parts of the design.

Then it is time for the track test.

How much force is actually useful? How quiet is it? What does braking feel like? What happens when left and right belt feedback is added through a corner? And perhaps most importantly, how much does a Belt Module add when you already have a motion system?

Ron covers all of it during the review.

He also finds a couple of compromises during the test, so this is not simply a walkthrough of the product.
